Oxford Swift City will be on Al Ryan on BBC Oxfordshire around 2.40pm talking about our annual survey of swifts nesting in Oxford.



Oxford Swift City will be at the Green Action Fair organised by Environment @ Oxford on Wednesday 11am to 4pm. It's in the Mathematical Institute, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter. Find out more about our surveys and other work.



Help reverse the serious decline in swift numbers. We are recruiting volunteers to survey swifts in Oxford City this summer. Just one hour twice a month during May, June and July. Training will be provided. Contact [email protected] if interested.

Oxford Swift City honoured to host a meeting of the Swift Local Network with 100 representatives coming from across the UK to share their knowledge of this critically endangered species as well as ideas on how to increase awareness and practical ways to help swifts.

Swift Awareness Week will run from Saturday 29 June to 7 July. We will lead two swift walks in Oxford starting: 11am Saturday 29 June and 7.30pm Wednesday 3 July - lasting about 90 minutes. Book places by emailing [email protected] specifying which walk.
