We had the phenomenal Thomas Piggott MD PhD speaking on accessibility to healthcare for #underserved populations, all the while explaining the importance of terminology and language in our current healthcare landscape. #FillingTheGaps

We had Ontario Veterinary College’s Dr. Matt Little speaking on the thought-provoking topic of the effects of climate change and changing diets on food systems & impact on human health. #FillingTheGaps

We had the inspiring @JermalAlleyne speaking on tackling #ToxicMasculinity and #mentalwellness which generated much needed discussions on the topic. #FillingTheGaps

We had the esteemed Dr. Neil MacLusky from Ontario Veterinary College, expertly speaking on sex differences in medical research and the consequences of underrepresentation of women in clinical trials. #FillingTheGaps

We had CAMH’ Dr. Ranier Liboro speaking on #Sex and #Gender #Diversity and #Inclusion in health and education, a topic that everyone should have knowledge on to ensure best student learning and patient care. #FillingTheGaps

We had @WCRInstitute Women's College Hospital’s Dr. Sheila Dunn, who provided a phenomenal wealth of information on reproductive healthcare and the involvement of public policy in making it available. She left many feeling inspired with this new knowledge! #FillingTheGaps

And that’s a wrap on Oxfam this year! Thank you to all of our executives for making this phenomenal year our BEST one yet! As we bid farewell to our graduating execs from this year, and wish them well, we welcome our new executive team. See you all in the fall! 💚

All of the fees on UofGuelph campus have been decided upon by democratic student referendum. Let us continue support for our campus groups by opti-ing in!

Hey Gryphons! Oxfam at Guelph is holding out 3rd annual hygiene product drive! Come by the Bullring today to Friday at 11 am - 4 pm. We will be taking cash donations and closed boxes of tampons to be donated to the Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis Centre. See you there!
