Its otter talk time! Freddies pond has just had its routine clean and he is showing off all his underwater tricks!

We have a wide range of birds here at the zoo as well as reptiles, mammals and invertebrates 🤩 whilst enjoying the zoo make sure to also check out picton castle, gardens ( Picton Castle ) marias cafe and for the escape room enthusiasts Mansion of Mystery Escape Rooms

Our larger reptiles are back on display! This includes our reticulated python Ethal who is definitely a crowd favourite, or at least a keeper favourite 😂🙈

Yoshi is an expert in our flying displays and has been doing our 11am show longer than most of our keepers! He is the grumpy old man of our display team but we love him just as much as all the others

We have a few nesting birds at the zoo and we are looking forward to the little squawks of baby birds! So please be mindful of this and give our birds a quiet and peaceful nesting experience and a little extra space so they feel safe on their nests Thank you for your cooperation

What a fantastic day out. Came across this gem looking for an escape room and came up with the Mansion of Mystery Escape Rooms. After doing a brilliant escape room, we spent the rest of the day looking around the castle, gardens and owl sanctuary. A brilliant place, well worth the visit

Theres always lots to see and do at the zoo, and for the price of admission you also get to explore the wonderful gardens and house of Picton Castle make sure to pop into Marias for a warm cuppa and some cake on the wetter days, or an ice cream on the sunny ones!

The welsh owl garden has been open for 4 years today! Today we want to celebrate all the memories over the last four years, and show how much the zoo and the family that started it all has grown! Thank you Picton Castle for letting us grow and educate in such a pretty place
