I've noticed that UGC invites higher controversy, questions and comments from the audience.

UGC also takes less time to create than an AI ad (at least the kind of work I do)

However AI stops the scroll and stands out.

Pros and cons

I've never been the one to stir drama...

Ask any of my friends/family and they know I avoid it. It's an energy sapper.

But I'm in the mood to have a chuckle at some of the NPCs on tiktok who expect creators to make entertaining, valuable content for free.

If I had to give 3 pieces of advice to consistently going viral on tiktok:

- Find your winning hook format and rinse it

- Use comment replies and rinse them

- Rinse controversy + value

Simple really. Rinse and repeat.

If you have a high performing organic post...

Then pitch the brand straight away for them to use it as a spark ad

This rakes in wayyy more revenue. And the brand is confident they are putting ad spend behind a winning concept.
