Enough people have told me they didn't know about the pacman rule that I must retweet Dylan Beattie has gone to BlueSky and cc Eric Holscher to promote it. It's an excellent idea and worked beautifully at Pizza Solves Everything. People were very noticably making the effort to leave space.
