A lot of well deserved praise for Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta over the quality of Absolute Batman, but I also want to make sure Frank Martin gets his flowers for his confident, warm color choices that feel as hopeful as they are brutal and foreboding.

There are so many brilliant moments in Absolute Batman #1, but it was this page (and Frank Martin's absolutely gorgeous colours) that made me fall in love with the book.

Nothing makes me happier than reading awesome comics and seeing so many people excited about new books. Today's been truly wonderful -- I read Absolute Batman #1, Ultimates #5 and Fantastic Four #26 and all three were amazing. And, the best bit, I've got tons more to read!

You motherfucker. Internet Archive was one of the best, most resourceful sites of the entire history of the Internet. You literally could've hacked into any corrupt site, or government official, but instead you do the online equivalent of nuking a museum. Truly despicable.
