Shouldn't the OPEC countries be increasing the increasing production to meet the supply issues in the Oil market? By allowing the prices to remain so high, not only are they gauging, they are also ensuring Russia has massive sustained foreign income.

We are seeing disproportionate number of pregnant women with COVID coming through ED at the moment. Often unvaccinated, or incompletely so. Some are critically unwell. If you know or are caring for someone who is pregnant, please encourage vaccination against COVID.

We are over the worst of Omicron for now in Auckland. Thanks to all the redeployed staff who helped in our ED, and to the DHB for funding the extra shift payments for the hardworking nurses. Having a fully staffed floor makes it so much safer for our patients.
