Today sam tompkins 🥪🎈 has released his seminal debut record! I was lucky enough to co write and co produce two songs on it - The title track ‘Who Do You Pray To’ and ‘In My Life’ with my Don Phil Simmonds . The dedication Sam has to his craft and his art is breathtaking.

I made this cos I felt creative. It’s called Show Me The Moon. I sampled a @tamzenee song called Dandelion Pesto. Nice little morning warmer.

Why we do it. Seeing a song go from nothing to everything. sam tompkins 🥪🎈 brought the bones of this song in and asked me and Phil Simmonds to get it out of his head, how he heard it, how he felt it. I’ve loved the results ever since.

When I was 10 I got Abbey Rd on CD. I played that album to death. I’d never heard anything like it. That started my life long obsession with the Beatles. On Sunday I got to go there, to studio 2 and just hang out and Jam. Big love to Elmo Lovano & Phil Simmonds for having me down.
