Asking difficult questions of powerful figures is my job. I asked questions I believe are in the public interest to ask. How someone wishes to respond to a question is their choice. They don't have to answer, but I do have to ask.

As much as large market, region-wide outlets try to cover every council across the Lower Mainland, fact is, they can’t. Local outlets are so, so important. Some of the best accountability pieces have been done by these reporters.
