Last night, the White House issued an executive order that seeks to ban transgender individuals from service in the United States armed forces. This move is yet another injustice to those who have chosen to serve their nation.

As the forces of hatred are on the march, my promise is this: Our trans neighbors will continue to be safe, protected, and welcome in Minnesota.
