The reports coming into the Trails Office are exciting! Southern Trails are reporting 17" more of the beautiful white stuff over the weekend and the Northern Trails are reporting over 2' of snow in the past week! We are rockin' it this year!

Last night at the Outdoor Campus-West a group of future hunters learned one step in the process of taking big game from prairie to plate.

Our Snowmobile Trails closed on March 31st. You may still ride on U.S. Forest Service land but stay off private property. This season was spectacular and we want to thank our Groomers for their outstanding work, making our trails some of the very best around! Job well done!

The online application deadline for elk, mountain goat and bighorn sheep seasons is tomorrow, May 22nd at 8am CDT. If you have not gotten your applications in this is the last chance!

Applications are now being accepted for second draw Black Hills Elk and Archery Elk. The deadline for these seasons is 8 a.m. CDT on June 19.

Deadline is getting very close now! Paper applications for the East River, West River, Black Hills, Muzzleloader, Custer State Park, and Refuge deer hunting seasons are due this Friday, June 14! Don't let the deadline bust you and leave with it's tail in the air!
