Today marks the anniversary of the time when Bailie Macmoran - said to be the wealthiest merchant in the city - was shot twice in the head after being called to the old Royal High School in 1595.

Litter is something we can all work to improve for the good of all! This is our S3 DofE pupils busy litter picking after school. The vast majority of pupils at RHS are determined to reduce pollution in our school grounds with a number of pupils volunteering to collect litter.

A bit late for Valentine's day but still an excellent sentiment - how cool does this guy look!

Anthony Nolan Scottish Fire and Rescue Service partnership continues to grow! A new milestone of 20,000 donors on the list for the blood Cancer charity was achieved at Royal High School today. Huge well done to all involved! Special mention to S6 student Erin Tocher for organising this event!

Lots of our pupils have been busy helping to protect our school environment by helping to clear it of litter.
