Delighted to join a panel on Turbocharging Egypt’s Green and Circular Economy w/ H.E. Yasmine Fouad. I see three important ingredients to “turbocharge” Egypt’s green and circular agenda: an enabling environment; invest in scaling clean technologies; and foreign direct investment.

Last week, the World Bank approved $700 million to support Egypt's reforms in private sector participation, macroeconomic and fiscal resilience, and a greener growth trajectory. I was glad to exchange with Rania A. Al Mashat on the need to do more together on skills for jobs.
