The Indigenous-led Jericho project will add 13,000 homes. NIMBYs claim there's "no assurance that it really will help the housing crisis". But 2600 of those units are social housing. And through vacancy chains, 8000 homes will be freed up in poorer neighborhoods. 1/

More and more I think the perception of bike lanes being underused comes partly from the fact that cyclists are smaller and much less visibly apparent than cars. Street parking adds another layer of cars being always visibly present, too.
