Mr. Ouimet’s “greatest thrill” 🏆 Exactly 110 years ago in 1914, Francis Ouimet defeated four-time champion Jerome D. Travers 6&5 to win the first of his two U.S. Amateur Championships at Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vermont.
