Americans work harder than almost any other people on the planet. This is a very silly post. No country becomes wealthy without hard working people. Poverty and entropy are the natural order. It takes serious work to build anything, especially a nation.

Nigerians are fond of contributing money to causes out of emotions sometimes; Alot of the real people that need help, struggle to find it but the public consistently gets scammed due philanthropy driven by pity/emotions instead of actual knowledge.
