Well, I did some experimental physics during summer holidays also. The sky in the #Morvan natural park was amazing.

Our mini-colloquium “Scale-invariant dynamics in dissipative systems” (media.univ-lyon1.fr/2022/jmc2022/m…), within #JMC2022-Lyon, was excellent. Thanks to the co-organizers Kirsten Martens and Jonathan Barés and to all the speakers!

Very rich week of discussions in #Avalanche2022 in Debrecen (avalanche2022.statphysconf.hu). Thanks to Ferenc’s team and all the speakers! Here a short refreshing stopover in Budapest in my way back home yesterday.

Our main experiment got recently new eyes & new muscles: 24 new cameras and optics & two devoted servers to crunch the 10 TB of data per experiment.

The new images of the granular structure are amazing! Many thanks to Louis Combe for the analysis! New results coming soon :)

Excellent discussions in the GDR IDE. Thanks to the organizers! Now back in Lyon full of ideas to explore.
