Last Friday, Professor Osyczka presented our latest research findings on new (and unconventional) methods of differentiating human adipose-derived MSCs into bone cells at the symposium „Stem Cells - Basic Research and Applications” at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.

🎉 Our heartfelt congratulations to our mentor, Professor Anna M. Osyczka, on her promotion to the esteemed position of Full Professor! We recently celebrated her nomination in our Department with a little surprise, a toast with 0% wine and everyone signing lab shoes!

With the start of spring, we are happy to share that our paper „Noggin promotes osteogenesis in human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells via FGFR2/Src/Akt and ERK signaling pathway" has been published in Scientific Reports! nature.com/articles/s4159…

Our invention was recently awarded a gold medal and a special prize at #ENNOVATE International Innovation & Invention Summit 2024! We also received a silver medal and a special prize from Polish Patent Attorneys at the #INTARG Invention & Innovation Show! 🏆

Last week our student Łukasz Tytuła visited the laboratory of Dr. Beata Kaczmarek-Szczepanska at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun to learn the process of developing biomaterials aimed at periodontal regeneration 🦷, studied in the current Prof. Osyczka’s OPUS Project.
