During spring break, Dr. Wallis visited her chimpanzee field site in Uganda. Recently two adult females joined the community, including Osa (in honor of OSSM). Osa is carrying her infant daughter. Dr.Wallis notes it is unusual for female chimps to transfer into a new community.

On Wed., a team of engineers from Oklahoma City-based CEC described several of their projects to OSSM students. Their vast range of work includes installing a new railing at the OSU stadium and moving a river. Thank you to Josh Dougherty, Bart Estes and Kyle Morse. #engineering

OSSM introduced Tony Cornforth, president designate, to state legislators and dignitaries at a reception on Wednesday. Guests included Speaker Charles McCall (R), District 22. Speakers included students, alumni and Professor Cornforth, all of whom described the impact of OSSM.
