Our first summer excursion of 2025 is a walk along part of the Marine Drive looking at the Manx Slate, the sediments, flora, fauna and the history of the area. John Barker will be starting at 2.30pm from the Pigeon Steam Carpark (what3words.com/deal.stays.lea…) #ManxAntiquarians

Tomorrow morning we are walking around Poyll Dopey and the Sulby River Saltmarsh. Ecologist and saltmarsh expert Dr Erica Spencer will lead us on a walk around the area looking at its past history and current conservation interests. #ManxSaltMarsh #ManxAntiquarians
