So the new, all-singing, all-dancing version of #redis is faster than its legacy Open Source version and forks. From company-provided benchmarks at redis.io/blog/announcin…

Thanks Drupal Dev Days for all the help, thanks Alex Pott catch Dave Long for all the amazing ideas, thanks tstoeckler for figuring out the last bug standing: so much progress was made in eventually converting all hooks to OOP code. Draft change notice: drupal.org/node/3442349

TIL : in the Gogs git server (Gogs) 0.13, config section [service] was renamed to [auth]. If you upgraded without updating your security config just switched to enabling auto-registration and other things you may not want. RTFM at github.com/gogs/gogs/blob… #securitybreach

TIL : In #goland and probably other IntelliJ IDEA, a JetBrains IDE family editors, you can have TODOs / FIXMEs recognized using the reference syntax: [//]: # (FIXME: Do something) Neat trick using the off-line reference format. Beware that you need the #, the spaces, and the parentheses, though.

Josh Koenig fwiw, I’ll post thoughtful engagement here and flame you on LinkedIn instead. These numbers don’t surprise me at all. Drupal got really big because in the heyday of Web 1.0, a lot more people wanted to build a personal website than today. Web 2.0 made social profiles more

#golang Go Tip of the day: want to force users of public types in your package to initialize literals with keys instead of just values ? Just add a private field which is just a struct{}: 0 length, but now literals must have field names. Credits: AWS SDK Go smithy noSerde.

Sometimes using a stack in parsing is not the automatic best answer... interviewcake.com/question/pytho… - I like these small questions a lot more than full-on competitive leetcode...
