Today is the 14th annual #TransDayOfVisibility🦋 We are celebrating transgender individuals and their contribution to society and the world around them. Today is also devoted to raising awareness on the discrimination and inequity faced by transgender people around the world 🏳️‍⚧️

Our PI, Dr. Nico Osier (They/Them) is proud to be “out” as a transgender faculty member🏳️‍⚧️They recall never having any transgender role models growing up and the impact this had. It’s hard to be what you can’t see, and Nico hopes that their authenticity is helpful to others ✨
