I'm looking to hire someone to redesign the automatetheboringstuff.com site. I want a lightweight site that uses static files, has a clean look like Wikipedia, without React or animated nonsense. Boring is good. Any recommendations? Any advice on how to hire a web designer?

I maintain jamstack on pypi. I use it for all my personal sites. We also have some html5up templates baked in. Today wanted to use a template for some quick websites. Found it was broken, need to fix. Even the docs were very thin. Eat your own dog food!

If you need PDFs and deploying to Windows with Python, highly don't recommend weasyprint by CourtBouillon (@[email protected]). Though the best on Linux, win instructions are poor, don't work (tried on two PCs) and unclear. Wasted some hours on it. Switched to reportlab.
