Seems to be good news, but if only. Shame the nearest vaccination centre to me in Bristol is 3 hours drive away in Peterborough, and appointments supposedly unavailable. Government said this would be fixed IN JULY

Another home run in the government's battle to outdo itself with extremely late, badly thought out and ineffective measures. Remarkable really. Anyone know what the effects would be of 4 doses? (Asking for a friend...)

Some statistics to start the year: During 2021 Bitcoin consumed 134 TWh in total, which is comparable to the electrical energy consumed by a country like Argentina. Related CO2 emissions were ~64 Mt; enough to negate the entire global net savings from deploying EVs.

Bit of a surprise (slight understatement) to see this when I looked out of my bedroom window in Tignes this morning! Seemed very happy on the side of a small church just 20m away. Comfortably the best bird I’ve seen on a skiing trip, and pretty unlikely to be beaten

Been quiet on here for a while, largely because I can’t show the photos I’ve taken for Queens, the NatGeo/Disney+ series I’ve been working on for 4 years, until it’s out in March. But a couple of days ago I actually took a photo in the UK! Pretty spectacular watching these
