Amroth c. 1920s taken not far from where the shop sits now looking towards the road up the hill to Summerhill. On the left you can see properties that were originally on the sea front but were tragically washed away in a storm in 1939.

Quite a poignant photograph considering the two big landslides we’ve had over the past few weeks down the path and an important meeting on the sea defences plan tomorrow evening. Those houses that stand no more remind us of what we face if we don’t find a solution.

Aside from our glorious beach, Amroth is also very lucky to be home to Colby Woodland Garden featuring a spectacular walled garden, meadow and of course the woodland itself covering 8 acres all together and perfect for walking & exploring! #amroth
