Arizona just revived a near-total abortion ban from 1864. In 1864:

- Only white men could vote
- Slavery wasn't fully abolished
- Most women could not own property
- The age of consent was 9-years-old

Republicans want to take away our rights & freedoms. We cannot let them.

There is nothing to be done in a special session that can’t be done right now. The legislature can repeal the 1864 ban today. They’ve had the ability to do so since 1864. They don’t need a special session. They can fix this NOW!

Republicans are trying to avoid accountability for protecting their total abortion ban. They have nobody but themselves to blame.

Can't believe this has to be said, but a Special Session wouldn't:

A. Magically change Republican legislators' minds about abortion rights.
B. Force GOP leadership to put anything up for a vote.

The GOP could overturn the 1864 ban at any time. Just put the bill up for a vote.
