We should take Frontex and turn it into a proper European army. The agency was created to protect our external borders and right now, the greatest threat to those borders is Russia. It would only be logical to expand Frontex so it can respond to a Russian assault on EU territory.

The agency is already expanding rapidly, with the goal of growing to 10,000 employees. Why not make it 100,000 and organise it around a modern corps structure? Give it the best kit available and something for other EU militaries to standardise around.

Trump has stopped all aid to Ukraine. That saved the US about $18B - 24h of government spending. At the same time, he has introduced a bill that will add $2.4T to the US deficit. He promised peace in 100 days, but gave up immediately and condemned thousands to their deaths.

This goes out to all who still hope for a tiny bit of compassion from Trump, or that he might turn on Putin. He does not care, his MAGA goons cheer him on and celebrate every missile that strikes Kyiv. Americans voted for this, the suffering of Ukrainians makes them euphoric.
