My heartfelt condolences go out to Pastor Bill Curl and the Curl family as we mourn the tragic passing of Lucy Pat Curl. Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home, and this heinous crime must be taken seriously and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

I look forward to collaborating with the community and law enforcement to make District 6 a safer community for everyone, especially our elderly population, who are often the most vulnerable. I urge everyone to keep an eye on their neighbors and to check in on them regularly.
