The OHS Track & Field team host their Charger Invite this past Wednesday and they came to compete! Between the boys and girls team we had 10 individual athletes win an event which they all earned a T-shirt for their accomplishment! Great job everyone!

OHS Boys Track Team came to compete in their first 3 invites for the outdoor season, placing first in the United Storm Invite on 4/3, Titans Invite on 4/14 and our very own Charger Invite on 4/16! Great job guys! Keep it up!

Congratulations to Maddux Anderson as he signed his National Letter of Intent today! Maddux will be continuing his Wrestling and Baseball career at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA. Good Luck next year Maddux!

Join us at OHS on May 6th at 6pm as we host our 13th Annual Academic Awards Night and National Honor Society Induction ceremony. This evening will include the presentation of our senior scholarships where over $75,000 is awarded to our graduating seniors.

Tonight's JV baseball at Sherrard as well as Varsity Baseball and Softball here in Orion have been canceled due to weather and field conditions! All games will be made up on Tuesday May 13th. JV Baseball will be at Sherrard and both Softball and Varsity Baseball at home.

A 42yr old record has been broken for the OHS Track Team! This past Tuesday April 29th at the Mercer County Invite, our boys 4x100 team ran a 44.22, setting a new school record! Congratulations to Will Maher, Cash Duhs, Lance Moore, and Owen Voorhees!

A huge thank you to the Orion Booster Club for their contribution in purchasing a new scoreboard for Charger Field. The board was scheduled to be installed this summer, but NEVCO Scoreboards surprised us yesterday and let us know they could install the board today!

A little rain doesn't stop us from hosting Girls Soccer Regionals today! OSC United is currently down 1-0 at halftime vs. Peoria(Richwoods).

OHS Student Council had the pleasure of helping with the CR Hanna Field Day today! The sun was out and smiles were endless. Not sure who had more fun, the elementary students or the high school students.

The track at OHS/Charger Field will be under construction starting today through June 9th and will be closed for use! We will make another announcement if it happens to open sooner. Thank you!
