Our labour situation collapsed again. Of 4 workers, none showed today for variety of reasons, two being "it's raining" so that just left this OAP and two bad backs who worked out in it all day, 18.5 mm of the stuff. Cats living the best life, not much pest control going on here

Delivery of another 20 bins should see us finish the #beetroot harvest this week, if the weather carries on in our favour & we don't get any mechanical break downs

A satisfactory week behind us. #Onions in, after sets held up by Plant Health at the docks. #Beetroot all lifted into storage, after PTO snapped on topper half a bed from the end. The new week brings a change of workers, let's see how that goes!

Dicken nets up beetroot to order with Iasar & Luminita, they've worked for us a couple of days before, while Clyde and I graded and packed a tonne of squash. I certainly feel like I've packed a tonne of squash, but if you can't sell #squash in lead up to Halloween, you never will
