Our Oracy Hub is back for 2024/25. Over 30 Tower Hamlets primaries collaborating to enrich oracy learning and teaching across the borough! This year we’re working in teams to ‘turn great talk into great learning’ in a range of subjects including maths, science, art and history!

We had another fantastic network meeting today. Our Hub project this year is truly up and running, with teams of teachers working collaboratively to develop oracy practice in different curriculum subjects - history, English, maths, science and art.

Y3 Donatello used their oracy skills to describe a hidden picture to partners.👥 Their partners had the tricky task of drawing this picture following the instructions they were given.✍️ We really had to think about the purpose of our talk and how we can communicate effectively!🗣️
