I visited 13 Health Centres in Tbong Khmum province from April 10th-11th, 2024, to encourage quality improvement of Health services delivery and boost Primary Health Care implementation and chaired a meeting with the participation of about 200 officials & 7 health partners.

I returned to visiting Mondulkiri health services delivery at health centres when talking to a villager couple on their life and livelihood, including their health-seeking behaviour in O Am health centre where improvement quality is noticed. Thanks to dedicated HCWs nationwide.

03-04-2024, Rattanakiri: the orientation meeting for PHC-BIF to the six provinces (Kratié, Mobdulkiri, Rattanakiri, Kampong Speu, Koh Kong, and Kandal) was held to completed tasks by April 30th, 2024 such as the provincial orientation, plan development and progress of works.

The Health Education and Health Promotion's third monthly meeting was a resounding success! We're committed to reducing alcohol use, and we'll produce a 20-minute education script to encourage reduction of alcohol drinking under the theme of “ In a blinking eye, causes Morse.”

The orientation meeting on PHC-BIF with the same purpose and agenda as the meeting on March 27, 2024 conducted with the provincial hall and provincial health departments of six other provinces ( Takeo, Battambang, Pursat, Svay Rieng, Banteay Meanchey & Tbong Khmom.

Despite limited resources and capacity, PHC-BIF is moving forward thanks to the commitment of provinces and healthcare workers. We keep people-centred care at heart, even if progress is slow, “ Turtle steps is better than doing nothing.”

Although our health care workers need to travel by boat but they still provide health services to the population with this challenges. My heartfelt appreciation to all HCWs in Kratie province where Thmor Kre HC is awarded No. 6 for the national competition. Big congratulations!

22-03-2024: Before we age, we should take the opportunity to learn from the younger stage. The young require guidance from older individuals to grow and thrive. There is a mutual dependence between the old and young in human life, but we must strive for a healthy life for all.

It is much appreciated to our health care workers at tertiary health care level who serve well the community in Kg Cham province under the framework of boosting the primary health care with encouragement and support from the community leader to the health center functioning.
