The Tucson Police Midtown Pictures with Santa event this last weekend was a huge success. Many families were able to come through and have an amazing morning with us. Tons of smiles and laughs as everyone enjoyed the holiday spirit together as a community.

This last weekend was amazing for the Midtown Community Engagement Unit. Santa and the unit spent time with the kids and staff at the Arizona Autism Charter School on Friday and then on Saturday McGruff joined for a Midtown Shop with a Cop at Marshalls. Amazing Weekend for all!!

Safety First Saturday. Less than a month away. Saturday March 1st. Tucson Mall. 10AM - 2PM. First Responder Agencies from across Southern Arizona will be there showing all the vehicles and equipment they use and the exhibits will be INTERACTIVE. Numerous demos and fun activities.

Huge thanks to all who came out for the Tucson Police Department Midtown Division spring event. It was nice to see all of the smiling faces participating in the fun. The Easter Bunny also had a great time. It’s always nice to make new connections with our community members.

This last weekend was busy for Tucson Police Midtown Community Engagement Unit. Saturday we had some of our members at the Erik Hite Fallen Officer Memorial 5K at Reid Park and others at the Freedom Park Splash Pad grand opening. It was a great time with everyone.

Tucson Police Department Midtown Community Engagement unit had a blast at Roberts-Naylor K-8 with TPD’s speciality units and LifeNet also flew in and joined the event. Everyone had a blast learning about our special units and what LifeNet does. Huge thanks to our presenters today

This week the Tucson Police Department had two of our fallen officers put on the National Law Enforcement Memorial. Jason Southard and Adam Buckner were both recognized for their sacrifice and will be forever remembered for what they gave. No words are enough for these loses.

This last week the Tucson Police Midtown Community Engagement Unit had the pleasure of participating in the end of year water day at Roberts-Naylor K-8 and field day at Cragin. It was a blast having fun with the kids as they celebrate another year done & heading to summer break.

This Memorial Day, the Tucson Police Department joins our community to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation. We reflect on their legacy, courage, honor and will keep their families in our hearts. Their selfless dedication will never be forgotten.
