Whilst I finish the route planning, here’s where I’ll be starting this mammoth adventure On Sunday 29ᵗʰ June my trip south starts at Celtic Football Club Remembering where the patron of The Macari Foundation, Lou Macari, started his football career as a youth, way back in 1966.

After a huge marathon of a stomp the day before, I start day 13 on 11th July at Old Trafford. Rather fitting that Lou, The Macari Foundation’s patron had an amazing career from 1973-1984 for Manchester United . I might also try and find time to visit Lou’s famous chippy too
