π¨ π‘ππͺ π₯πππ’π₯π Yesterday #wind power hit ππ΄.πππͺ on GB's #electricity system at 10.30pm β‘οΈπ¬οΈ β over 850MW clear of the previous record. Wind is still generating at near record levels, so we'll monitor. We crunch the numbers overnight for accuracy β watch this space!

Experimenting with ambient info/art this weekend. This portrait stands in my kitchen and smiles/frowns depending on current level of renewable generation (via ng_eso) and Octopus Energy Agile price. Uses a Raspberry Pi Zero and low-powered pimoroni eink display.
I've been running Andy Brace's e-ink display for Octopus Energy Agile and The Baking Forecast (Great Britain) info for a few weeks now. I have to say I find it super-useful. And the pimoroni Inky display looks good in an old cassette case stand (if I say so myself) x.com/openbookuk/staβ¦
