Yesterday, at Molete PHC in Ifedore LGA, I celebrated #IWD2025 with nursing and expectant mothers. I highlighted the importance of routine check-ups—especially cervical cancer screening. Early detection saves lives! Kudos to Dr. Fayanju for his leadership in strengthening PHC.

Today, I had the honour of leading our Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) team to Omooluorogbo High School, Akure in celebration of this year’s International Day of the Boy Child—and it was truly impactful.

Over 300,000 women die from cervical cancer every year—yet it's preventable. This week at Ondo PHC, I supervised cervical cancer screening &FP services under SRMNH mentorship to strengthen quality care. Let’s keep encouraging women to get screened. Early detection saves lives.
