Not a great way to start the holiday weekend. Speeds of nearly triple digits and no drivers license. Let’s do better for everyone’s sake so we can all have a safe and fun weekend!

We have our first triple digit speed of the day. This kind of high speed driving is ridiculous, selfish, dangerous and unnecessary! We have to get back to the rules of the road for everyone’s safety! Have a safe and fun holiday weekend!

The driving today on our local highways is completely ridiculous. We all have friends and family that drive out here and when you’re going this fast it endangers everyone!

Dodge expressway eastbound is closed at Skyline for a semi fire. This will be a prolonged closure. Exit at Skyline and get right back on to bypass the closure.

Morning rush hour and this guy with a suspended license thinks he needs to drive 91mph weaving in and out of traffic on the interstate. Completely uncalled for, selfish and dangerous. Slow down so we can all get where we need to go safely.

The Omaha Police Dept along with Nebraska State Patrol and DCSO - Omaha, NE will be conducting speed enforcement throughout the metro area this weekend. This is not a good start to the weekend. Slow down for everyone’s safety!

The word is still not getting out. This kind of driving behavior especially during rush hour is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Please slow down. This was done today in the area of S 90th and Pacific st for eastbound traffic where the speed limit is 35 mph. There was just a fatality in the area where speed was a factor.

During this mornings rush hour, this Audi driver thought it was a good idea to cut across all lanes of the interstate and hammer it. This kind of driving puts everyone in danger! $549 dollars later hopefully he’s rethinking his driving habits.

Traffic enforcement is in full effect today. Omaha Police Dept Traffic Unit has stopped multiple cars on I-80 and on the Dodge Expressway in the 90’s and 100’s. Slow down for everyone’s safety!

As a reminder, the speed limit on Dodge in front of Westroads is 45mph in both directions. These speeds are too high anywhere in the metro let alone in a 45mph zone.
