Dear councils, If you manage small verges like this, they could be lifelines for pollinating insects next spring if you reduce mowing and don't spray them with weedkillers. You'll be saving bees and butterflies by saving time & money. Looks better too! 🐝

Rather than prescribing weight loss jabs for teenagers, invest in parks, pools and pitches for every town - coupled with better funded education on food/exercise in schools. Pumping medication into youngsters is not the answer.
