A massive shout out to single mums 🙌 Don't ever let anyone label your home as broken- there is nothing broken in our home ❤️. You are strong enough to do it solo but with love ❤️ youtube.com/shorts/O14d4x4…

Good luck to all those students getting results today. Whatever the outcome, you all have bright and amazing futures ahead. Your paths may be simple and straight or winding and complex, each have value and offer new exciting experiences and opportunities. Enjoy the nest steps.

A-level teachers, in case no one says it today: thank you for all your hard work preparing pupils for exams. Few know the pressure, worry & workload it takes and the pupils success is built not just on their effort, but on yours too. You’ve made a real difference.

Looking at A level grade boundaries. To get an A Star grade in French (AQA), you must average 90%. The highest of any subject. To get an E grade, 42%. Imagine getting a U with 41%. In Chemistry, 20% is an E. 42% is a C. #ResultsDay2025 No wonder students are not taking MFL…

I see you. Parents for whom 'results days' are an annual reminder of a world which is not accessible to their child. In a world defined by success we make failure a constant.

The grandad I never knew as he died when mum was little. John Clarke. Fought in Burma alongside the Ghurkas. He was a geordie, a redhead, and had an incredibly strong faith. Remembering him and all the others for whom VJ Day was a big deal.

Israel murdered little Rawan and every member of her family today in Gaza. They bombed their home and silenced their cries, don't let them steal your VOICE too. Don’t stop talking about Gaza.

I've seen posts from people claiming to be consultants, with expertise, touting for business by denigrating others, claiming they're different, they are legitimate for various reasons. Don't fall for it. The best consultants can be checked, will have a track record.

Reading some of schools lockdown conspiracy theory nonsense being encouraged by Yaxley Lennon. What a joke. Schools job in the first instance is to keep pupils safe when they are in our care. I remember measures put in place following Dunblane’96…1/3
