The defence for this try is just so damn poor. Moodie miss, Kriel sluggish to react and then no comms/trust/reaction from Manie and Willemse to shift.

anyway , I am going through the game again and it is very interesting. early on there is already SYMPTOMS. small signs everywhere that everything is not 100% quick example here is Manie losing us a important lineout on 7 minutes

🇿🇦 What is required by a Bok flyhalf right now, as a standard? What are the ideal expectations: 🧵👇 1. Playmaker (Engineering opportunity). 2. Manage Game State/Flow. 3. Accurate Contestable Kicks. 4. 80%+ Goal-Kicker. 5. Solid Defender. 6. Solid Auxiliary Fullback.

you know ,one reason Boks did not change course is that it was working. I mean in the sense that they made yards by going wide-wide but then the mess ups came in the 22m / red zone can understand Bok’s felt traction so continue to do it

Oom Rugby I do remember when Eddie Jones flogged the Eng players to within an inch of their lives one year in the runup to the 6N (he was unhappy with their conditioning) and they had a collective blowout in the final 20mins and took a heavy beating - I had a sense of that on Saturday

Oom Rugby The "player cycle coming to a end" this is a very difficult situation to handle, introduce new blood, keep on winning, to keep impatient supporters happy. Since the Italy I game, 66 changes, in total 46 players this season. Cohesions + match fitness = trouble!!!
