This post needs context:
The violence was directed *at* campus protestors, by a group of counter-protesters who showed up to antagonize the protest/presumably try to break it up.

They attacked the camp repeatedly for hours. Police/leaders took hours to respond to this.

The youth are leading the way. This seems a thing youth often do when moral obscenity stares them in the face. They seem not to so very kindly take demands to greet Atrocity with enthusiasm, and do not warmly receive demands to fondle the balls of war criminals

> 'Hey now, you can't do that, that's OUR GUY you're prosecuting'

Problem: The UAE wants beef!

Capitalist solution: cool, drain the vast majority of usable water in the Colorado River basin to produce alfalfa hay for export.

Sensible solution: Invest in solar desalination plants to irrigate the Arabian Peninsula.

*President Biden (parody) If you structured the global economy along those lines, scarcity would largely not be a meaningful factor.

In rare cases where it is a factor, prioritizing filling the gaps as locally as possible means infrastructure gets built to shore up any deficiencies.
