As much as tonight is a disgrace and a capitulation that a lot of people have said was coming - I still cannot envision any possible scenario where the owners sack their chosen manager after 2 poor league results and a CL playoff battering. Maybe I’m wrong. I just can’t see it.

I honestly can’t believe how bad Diomande has been this season. It’s like he’s a different player. I know not everyone is a massive fan of him, but he is so much better than he’s shown this season.

Can fully understand people not supporting Martin, he hasn’t shown anything so far to make people back him. But there seems to be a wave of revisionism that Clement and Barry were both brilliant and never should have left, which is completely demented.

Gio was mostly an utter disaster. Shat the bed vs them in Feb 22 and I’d have sacked him on the spot. The euro run was incredible and his football was perfectly suited to it. It never would have worked domestically and we actually should have sacked him much earlier than we did.

Celtic are genuinely horrific and have been for a while but they’ll still thump us next week and win the league by 30 points. That’s how bad we are.

Are we really doing this thing again where fans think you just have to decide to sell a player and a random club appears and pays you the asking price. Obviously we’d have sold players if anybody had bid for them. They haven’t, so getting them out on loan is better than nothing.

My favourite ever player. An unbelievable player. I’m of an age where I’ve been lucky enough to see Laudrup, Gazza, Coisty, Albertz live but I was pretty young - Barry is the player I have most enjoyed watching at Ibrox when I started to really understand the games.

I have wanted Tav phased out for years and I still do think he is a massive issue at the club, but there’s no possible way he’s a worse option than Aarons right now.
