Southland Mole of Canada, part of Southland Holdings LLC, recently completed a tunnel under Lake Ontario for the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant Outfall project. It's more than 2 miles long and has a lined internal diameter of 23 ft, and is the largest outfall tunnel in Canada.

Southland Holdings LLC held a Mobile Crane Operator Certification Course for 19 employees from its various subsidiaries at the corporate headquarters in Grapevine, May 16-18. The training course featured a classroom portion, a written testing portion, and a qualification portion.

Senior Project Engineer Fareed Imoro uses an inclinometer to pick data and monitor vertical ground movement at the Elm Fork 72-inch Waterline Phase I dig site in Carrollton, Texas. Imoro is one of the engineers working on the $43.2 million Oscar Renda Contracting (ORC) project.
