I was asked by my PI (and some other people too) if I've celebrated recent accomplishments. I said not yet. 😅 I guess it's genetics. I informed my mom I applied for graduation and will be a post-doc. She said: "Ok. Congrats", in a very nonchalant tone. 🤣

I think I'm en route to be a PI (if that happens) students will hate. 😅😅😅 Just finished a meeting with my mentee, on a Friday, at 8:30 PM (PST). (Not to mention I send emails in the evening and on weekends. 🤣🤣🤣)

When you pulled a lot of tricks out your hat, and looked at every angle you can look. At least there's something... 🙄🙄🙄 I think?

I got this 50$ bottle of wine, and I vow to open it after my dissertation defense. If I pass, it's to celebrate. If I fail... well I have no other option but to pass. 😁😁😁

I loved the presentations of Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber (yep), Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team (I thought Lance and Fernando will descend from the roof. LOL), and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team. Though all teams really did their reveal really well, especially McLaren 🧡 bringing their championship winning cars.

So. My tradition of drinking at conferences continues... May not be in a hote bar, but this counts.😅
