Some great talks lined up for the catalyst dynamics session at #ACSFall2023 ACS CATL Division Omar A. Abdelrahman

The UMass Amherst squirrels know what weather is coming.. they're prepping under the UMass Amherst Chemical Engineering window units at Goessmann Lab!! #squirrellife

Well that's one way to kick off the weekend: pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10… Super excited for Ajibola's Aji work on zeolite spatial characterization out in The Journal of Physical Chemistry today! He developed a cool (and chemically sensitive) way to measure Al pairing in zeolites using alkylamines!

Congrats to Omar Abdelrahman, Assistant Professor UMass Amherst, for being named one of the 2023 #AIChE35Under35 Award recipients! Abdelrahman’s research expertise focuses on catalysis and reaction engineering. Learn more about Omar and the other winners: bit.ly/46Qjj4H

Come and work with us UH Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering !

Dr. Michael Harold, recipient of the 2023 Wilhelm Award, is being honored for the synthesis, analysis, and development of novel, multifunctional reactors and catalysts for reduced emissions at the #AIChEAnnual Honors Ceremony. University of Houston ExxonMobil

Excited to enter 2024 with a cover feature in Environmental Science & Technology Journals! Congratulations to UH Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student Surya (Surya Pratap Singh Solanki) on his beautiful paper detailing a complete mechanism for passive NOx adsorption on atomically dispersed Pd-CHA. doi.org/10.1021/acsest…. #MyACSCover

Thanks ACSEnergyLett for the recognition! I am honored to be listed with these inspiring women. Along with personal reflections, the article highlights a perspective on kinetic impacts of defects in MOFs written by some of my amazing Princeton Engineering and Princeton Chemistry grad students.

I'm thrilled to be a part of the UH Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering family, all the better I can easily bug you now :D

Excited to have received the NSF CAREER award! Very grateful to U.S. National Science Foundation for supporting our work!

New #publication on dynamic/programmable catalysis! at pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… OpenAccess
