Year 12 students enjoyed taking part in Formula 1 ‘The Next Grand Prix’ challenge, hosted at Travers Smith. Teams were assigned different locations and were tasked with persuading the judges their destination should host the next Grand Prix. Thanks Travers Smith for a great day!

Students in Year 7 and Year 8 enjoyed a trip to Mile End Stadium to compete in an athletics competition. Well done to Rohan who won gold in the 800m which was then followed up by Alfie who won gold in the 1500m. There were also some medals in the field events. Well done all!

Year 9 and 10 students competed at the Hackney athletics championships. Bryan won gold in the 1500m run, Neriah won silver in the 200m finals and Keichardae won bronze medal in 100m finals. Chinonso, Neriah and Keichardae also won their heats in the 100m. Well done to all!

Last week, 15 students went to watch the Arsenal men’s first team train at the Emirates stadium. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to watch such high quality players train. The experience inspired the students and some students even got autographs from the players!
