End of Day 1 of our study abroad trip to Arizona for MLB spring training: Cubs beat the Rangers and we had a grill out post game! #omavs

Day 2: Started the day with an early sunrise hike at Lookout Mountain. Then we watched the Royals play the Giants at Sunrise Stadium followed by a tour of the Royals sports medicine facilities at Sunrise Stadium! Long day but ready for more! #omavs #UNOstudyabroad

End of Day 3: Started out with a tour of the Creighton University Health Sciences Phoenix campus and had an informative session with Ryan Crotin with Arm Care. After that we had a tour of the sports medicine facilities of the Cubs organization and then caught the Cubs vs Brewers!

Day 5: started off the morning with a few rounds at the batting cages! Then went to watch the Mariners vs Brewers and were able to sit right behind the Mariners Bullpen! Several students got game balls from the bullpen too! #omavs #UNOstudyabroad

Although the Mariners vs Padres prospects game was canceled today due to rain, we still managed to have a pretty fun last night of the trip by playing putt putt and eating one last dinner together! This marks the end of our trip in Arizona and it’s definitely one to remember!

🎉Congrats to our students who were awarded research grants from MAATA District 5! Jiho is a current MA AT student. Sarah and Tomo are currently doctoral students working with our lab! These student-led projects will enhance our knowledge of a variety of topics in sports medicine.
