Rather proud of our latest work showing the benefits of embedding organic absorbers in an inorganic matrix while controlling how the excited state is transferred to the emitter. To me, this shows the real importance of ALD. Doubt these structures can be made in any other way.

We placed a pink spider on the back cover of Dalton Transactions! doi.org/10.1039/D1DT90… It shows how MLD can be used to color complex surfaces by using large aromatic molecules. In this case, quinizarin. For the paper itself: doi.org/10.1039/D1DT00… (the spider was self-dead)
