Furlough was an impressive success, as we document in our report on the Treasury during Covid.

But number of jobs saved is 4mn (not 14mn or 11.7mn) according to govt's own evaluation.

some thoughts on the #WASPI report. Lots of talk of compensation recommended by the Ombudsman. but the compensation is for failure to inform - not for raising the state pension age which was what I thought they campaign was about.
