Today in Basel JUG Switzerland : small group of people frontend backend. Really interested to see if htmx.org / CEO of Java Pants (same thing) is right for them. These were good questions and suggestions. Nice to see people seeing simplicity as an option again.

It is the small, unagitated, simple things that have the potential to change the world. I think htmx.org / CEO of Java Pants (same thing) is one of them. Next Tuesday, the Coders Only association is organizing a lecture and discussion on this topic in Zurich. CU there. meetup.com/coders-only/ev…

That was fun today. Lovely group. Good questions during and exciting stories after the htmx.org / CEO of Java Pants (same thing) talk. Met old and new friends. Coders Only I think I should apply to the Big Sky Dev Con conference. 😅

Have I already mentioned how great Kotlin by JetBrains and htmx.org / CEO of Java Pants (same thing) work together? I'm seriously thinking about writing a small extension for the Kotlin HTML DSL so that code completion and compiler can help a bit more. Is this interesting to anyone but me? 😳

One important thing I had to learn: if you ask a question in a conversation and don't get an answer, then this is a very clear answer.

The primary objective of system decomposition is to support change. To contain the effects of a change to as few as possible elements. If your decomposition strategy does not align with that, it’s distracting at best and harmful at worst.
